" Our fourth "Carte blanche" is given to Cldscp, an atypic duo from Argentina that brought the pop concept to its paroxysm, by composing in 2009 several tenth of tracks at an industrial rate with the most simple instruments : a mouth, a charango and some electronic toys. The result is a crispy and childish love story you're not close to forget ! " LCL
Banyek is considered as an experienced fellow in the Hungarian underground music scene. His former project Soutien Gorge is highly acclaimed among Hungarian (and global) electronica listeners. While he is managing both Bitlab Records and its free netlabel Cod, recently he has started experiments in the world of dubstep sounds, and now with this mini and funny downbeat material he demonstrates an entirely new side. I think that there's no doubt about it: his unique style stands out within every genre he chooses to play with.

Are you here? Like now? Like now now? Like in this very moment? And then in the one which follows? And the next one? And another one? Tough living then. Much easier to lay our trust on the illusion of past and future and hold on to stuff which only makes our walk heavier. Stuff that makes us believe many weird things which do even weirder things to our lives. While we all shall and we paradoxically do share the same. Same light, same time, same tribe, same DNA. At the end there will be a simple information, kept offline from the collective unconsciousness of mankind for various reasons. The information that will save all the incorporated souls, losing their lives for concepts far weaker then the noble and simple cornerstones of something which can be called our true purpose. And I mean all the living beings and ghosts. But only if we let ourselves get to our true selves, not running, not scared and not ignoring, only then we will be able to survive in this world, which holds so much beauty and so little anger in itself. Only we have to embed ourselves in the flux of the universal flow. Learn to let go in order to find again. To see what it is to BE, to be able to remember what could be, if we wanted. Not to lose the trace of where and how we can go in the direction of one love more then one war. But trust me. I´m a dog. (Semtam)

Devilish deck doyen DJ Yoda returns to the fray with the latest in his acclaimed Cut'n'Paste adventures. Following on from the '80s Edition', which saw him giving that most colourful of decades a boot into the future, the latest instalment of this legendary series covers the gamut of countrified cuts. Distilling the most potent musical moonshine, Yoda blows the barn doors off with his deft trickery taking you on a wild hayride into the heart of both types of music; Country AND Western and their stylistic dalliances with Hip-Hop. From John Denver's supercharged 'Oh Thank God I'm A Country Boy’ slipping into Dolly Parton's ‘9 to 5’, DJ Yoda mixes up beats, banjos and Johnny Cash in what is his most startling mix yet.

The EP is one of many possible soundtracks for a dystopic world, in which the quested paradise has become a vivid image - a memory? - in one's mind, mere reflex of the past communion man-nature, now overwhelmed by the assymetric relation man-technology/machine.
Therefore, the EP can be divided in two parts: the first 2 songs(Fm-Ra), more melodical, are still reminiscent of the now only remembered harmony; the 3rd and 4th songs(jjoth), more amelodical, twisted and sometimes (post?)industrial, reflect the experience of a cannibalesque humankind living in a now harsh world.

Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer Zo! is Detroit-area born and raised Lorenzo Ferguson. Music was always present in and around the Ferguson house, which led to Zo! taking piano lessons at age 6… which he absolutely despised. The idea of working toward a Major League Baseball career served as the greatest inspiration through his teenage years much more so than the concept of practicing music. After his parents consistently pushed and encouraged him to stick with music, Zo! discovered a newfound passion by teaching himself how to play piano by ear by age 11. Zo! got his production start in 1992 when his parents brought home a Proteus MPS keyboard and a Brother PDC100 sequencer for him to figure out. Since then, he has emphasized the use of live instrumentation as the blueprint for his music while constantly looking to expand his sound with each album release.

Fed.'s favourite yard games include the good ole fecal-freckles (throw brick into shit and stay bent), a passtime of choice for many local shitpunks. On the dancefloor he's the man, with his diskopolo moves, beer-belly dancing he's rocking the ladies and pisses off faggot minimal deejays. His first million dollars earned by supplying raw musical material for a WC Duck tv commercial was spent on buying out a substancial part of his hometown's heat pipeline and monopolizing numerous winter stayover places of local bums.

Psychonaughtstarted making tracks using fruityloops about half a year ago. Back then I mainly made gabba/hardcore/breakcore with limited success. However after a few months of chopping and changing between diffrent genres of music, I came across the varied, new sounds of dubstep. Immediately I wanted to make dubstep and be involved in the up and coming dubstep scene in Newcastle upon Tyne. I take most ispiration for my music from artists like Skream, Kromestar, Caspa, Vex'd and local artist JD Bigfoot.

Crepusculum is Fred Baty, a young lad well-known to those that have been around with 12rec. for a bit longer. His “Sky Diaries" EP was a huge success back then and makes hearts melt even today. The accompanying remix album (in cooperation with Zymogen netlabel) remains one of the most elaborate projects carried out at this place ever. We are more than happy to have Crepusculum back with his full-length debut “Sing on in Silhouettes”. Although the title might point in another direction, nobody really sings on “Sing on in Silhouettes”. Fred Baty’s intricate, neo-baroque Folk music is as instrumental as it ever was. Still, Baty enhanced his palette of instruments and while “Sky Diaries” was an unpolished diamond, “Sing on in Silhouettes” sounds rich and timeless. Crepusculum bridges from John Fahey to XTC ca. 1986, bringing forth the melodic complexity of NWOBHM-pioneers Iron Maiden without being heavy at all. On “Sing on in Silhouettes", Fred brings to perfection what was his trademark ever since. Kitsch and emotional weight, musical craftmanship and a self-taught comprehension in harmonics setting apart Crepusculum from all guitar music you might have heard before. Eventually, there is some singing in silhouettes. For “Abaculus Perceptive” Crepusculum joins forces with Genevieve Schwartz and Julia Kotowski (a.k.a. Entertainment for the Braindead) who give out their lovely vocal harmonies. So wow.
