We've been listening to Cee-Lo Green's music for years now, and after being astonished by his vocal prowesses on recent TV shows (MTV, Jools Holland, etc), we couldn't resist a well-deserved tribute. A member of Atlanta hip hop act Goodie Mob in the second half of the 90s, he's then started successful solo career with many singles, two superb albums in 2002 and 2004, and numerous collaborations and vocal featurings: with Outkast, their Dungeon Family collective, Common, Twista, Trick Daddy, De La Soul, Rhazel, Black-Eyed Peas... The list goes on and on and recently culminated with his Gnarls Barkley combination, with "Grey Album" guy Danger Mouse, and their worldwide hit-single "Crazy" (which you must have heard by now if you weren't lost on some stupid island for months for some reason). Cee-Lo started as a rapper, but he's also an incredible funk and soul singer, a producer and a songwriter. Weird and colorful, drenched into p-funk and soul, high-pitched and sometimes toon-ish, his voice is unique. Some would say that's too much talent in just one guy. We say Cee Lo is the one
