Forward is not just a direction, it's a way of life for Colorado based producer Alex B who is rolling out big tunes under the new guise of Paper Diamond. The new project finds the trusted producer moving into previously untraveled musical territory. The Paper Diamond sound has raw energy and the kind of dramatic anticipation only a seasoned producer can incite. Driving beats and bass grab on tight while deep, rich tones rumble under layers of spacey synthesizers, sweet melodies, and catchy vocals. One thing is for sure. The energy is high.

More than one year after his first album Sub Existência, Dubalizer presents his new ep: In Trance. Three titles of this artist from Sao Paulo pushes further than ever his dub vision. Dubalizer touch is still present but now agrees with new rhythmic, like dubstep. Current fashion? Not here. Dubalizer, always with great lucidity and skill, don’t add anyhow and does what it takes. For singing, we found his faithful brotha Dom Lampa, who we can discover on liveshow with Dubalizer and Nell, singer of the band. Dubalizer is also a guitarist, and you can listen it on Mud Up. Poulp up also to Parly B (vocals) and Mestre Nene (percussions) for their participation in this ep. Of course, we don’t forget Bandulu Dub, which revisits some of his song Mechanisms & Processes on Samba Que Vem.
tracklist: 01. Rei Dos Reis (feat. Dom Lampa) 5:42 02. Mud Up (feat. Parly B & Dom Lampa) 5:07 03. Samba Que Vem (feat. Bandulu Dub) 6:04

Raised in the cultural hotbed of New York City, Break Science's Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee fuse the city's rich musical legacy--jazz, funk, soul-- with a deep-rooted connection to its hip-hop heritage to create their own take on modern electronic music. Break Science's new EP, Further Than Our Eyes Can See, consists of thought-provoking, highly-textured, bass-pumping songs that include verses from some of today's most conscious artists: Brooklyn's Talib Kweli and Jahdan Blakkamoore, Sierra Leone's Bajah and India's Falu.

Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points has been shaking the electronic music world for two years now, through a string of releases on his own label Eglo as well as Planet Mu and R2, and remixes for the likes of Shawn Lee, Sébastien Tellier, Bonobo, Basement Jaxx or Four Tet... His smooth, dusty, soulful House sound, his techno-disco-boogie bubblism are rather Detroit-flavoured, while his samples are craftily cut into heavy bumping crunch-beats, paying respect to the lineage from Sun Ra to Madlib and onwards. He's still a twentysomething, but has already stepped out of the DJ action, recording and mixing his full Floating Points Ensemble 16-piece group at the legendary Abbey Road Studios for the Ninja Tune XX twentieth anniversary celebration. This is future soul at the edge of modern British music!
