The OriGinALz - Get Lucid
label: Gravitas Recordings
released: 15 July 2013
style: chill bass dubstep glitch hiphop electronic
format: 320kbps mp3, FLAC,....
'Get Lucid' is first LP from West Coast bass music producer The OriGinALz, released July 16th on Gravitas Recordings. The title is in reference to life; not unlike a lucid dream, one can decide what will happen next as we adventure through this world. Decide what you want, set your intentions, your focus, plant the seed and every thing else falls into place.
With 8 original tracks, The OriGinALz took an abstract approach to each song and allowed the music to come as it may, rather than a following a set pattern or template. Their multiple talents are showcased throughout the release, with the title track featuring recorded vocals, and 'Abnormal Existence' spotlights original guitar work. With remixes by LabRat and FiLiBuStA, 'Get Lucid' truly lives up to its title, taking you outside of yourself and into another world.

style: afrobeat hiphop house dub electronic
format: 320kbps mp3, FLAC,....
'OCCUPY' the single is a walloping kick from London Afrobeat Collective, leading the momentum for the local, global, positive dance movement that is stirring for the summer of 2012!

The release comes flanked by four sizzling remixes, hot for the dancefloor and hungry ears. Up first is a wonderfully dubbed out hip-hop glitch dream from the excellent Mother Nature’s Orchestra. Then there’s a killer Old School House workout from East London vintage studio don Claws For? (Clause Four/Modern Soul Records). The third remix is a Carl Craig style tech-house banger from Fear of the Rave, and finally an in your face no holds barred dub version by LAC’s own trumpeter Mr. Andy ‘Weltic’ Watts.
